My favourite soccer team is Manchester United. The name of their stadium is Old Trafford which is in England. The league they are playing is called the English Premier League.
Pre-Season Friendly National Stadium, Abuja, Nigeria
MANCHESTER UNITED 2 Eagles 51, Tevez 65
PORTSMOUTH 1 Defoe 90
A solid test in the Nigerian capital of Abuja saw United’s unbeaten pre-season campaign continue, with the Reds running out 2-1 winners against Portsmouth.
Chris Eagles and Carlos Tevez scored second-half goals, United were without Wayne Rooney for this match as he suffered a dead leg against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, while Ben Foster was also out with a knock and Carlos Tevez missed a penalty.
In the second half Jermain Defoe tried to scored but it was saved by Tomasz Kuszczak. After, Five minutes ,Pompey failed to clear the ball from a Reds attack and Eagles smashed the loose ball into the top corner from 12 yards. It was nothing more than Sir Alex’s men deserved.
United soon moved 2-0 in front with another emphatic finish. Tevez raced down the right channel and surprised James unexpectedly with powerful low drive into the near corner. But at 90 minutes, Defoe scored to give Portsmouth one goal but it was too late as the game had ended
This is a post about the best Manchester United matches I ever saw.

On 12th July 2008, I went to Marina Bay to see the National Day Parade Preview with the Primary 5 students from my school and other schools. I was the second group to see the National Day Parade Preview. We left the school at about 3pm to 3.30pm. We reach Marina Bay at about 4.30pm and one of the first things I did was to share a packet of chicken flavoured chips with my friends. At 5 plus, when the show was starting, one of the mediacorp actors Adrian Pang, Michelle Chong and other actors were there to start the show. Firstly, we saw some stunts made by wake-boarders and other things. Then we saw a lot of performances and we 6 jet-planes doing stunts which were called the Black Knights. For dinner, I ate a mini curry puff, a cake and a fish fillet burger. After dinner, Aniq, Yasser and me became 2nd best friends and we shared another packet of chicken flavoured chips. By the way, did you know that I shared 5 packets of chicken-flavoured chips with my friends. At night, when all the schools were living, it was like a traffic jam and Kai Wen lost his way as his mini green bag broke but he found us again. When we were waiting for the bus, Mr Ronald Lim forgot to tell Zachery to stand in the car park for 5 minutes as he was talking to much in the bus on the way to Marina Bay. When I reach school and went home, I was so happy that I could this only chance to see the National Day Parade Preview and I wish I could that chance again. What a day! What a chance! What a show! What a weekend
